SPR ING

Welcome Spring.

Spring colouring is warm in hue, relatively light in value, and high in chroma. The natural pigments in the hair, skin, and eyes tend to appear clear and lively rather than muted. Hair can range from golden blonde through warm brown to deep brown with visible warmth. Eyes are often bright or clear, including warm brown, amber, green, hazel, or bright blue. Skin may be fair, medium, or deep but usually carries a warm or golden undertone. The overall impression is fresh and animated. There is usually a brightness somewhere in the face that responds well to colour. If warm, light colours make you look instantly more awake while darker shades feel a bit serious, Spring may be your season.

For clothing, Spring palettes favour colour that feels joyful and sunlit. Coral, peach, warm turquoise, fresh green, marigold, and clear warm pink tend to light up the face. The palette works beautifully with playful combinations and lighter fabrics. Colour looks best when it feels bright and optimistic rather than heavy or muted. Makeup usually follows the same logic. Peach blush, coral lipstick, warm pink gloss, and soft golden highlights tend to echo the natural warmth and brightness already present.
